“Sad To Lose My Record Today” : Robin Peterson Hilariously Trolls Stuart Broad On His Most Expensive Over In Test Cricket.

The Ex-South African left Arm spinner Robin Peterson has hilariously mocked the veteran pacer Stuart Broad on his most expensive over in Test cricket history. In the rescheduled fifth Edgbaston Test between India and England, Stuart Broad conceded 35 runs in an over where Jasprit Bumrah collected 29 runs from the bat and 5 runs gone on a white bouncer which left for the reverse fence. In the test match between India versus England, India scored 416 runs in their first innings where at one point in time they were 100/5, thanks to the tons of Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja.

Stuart Broad had clinched the wickets of Mohammad Shami earlier but the same line and length didn’t work for Jasprit Bumrah as he sent every ball to the boundary for 4 and 6. Broad has been consistently struggling for a long time with the adjustment of line and lengths and he finally has to pay off with the big figure in this ongoing test match between India and England.

Robin Peterson who was a former left and spinner and left-handed better of the South African team has done this rarest thing in the ODI series of the year 2013 against the Kumar Sangakkara leading Sri-Lankan team. In the 30th over of the match, the Sri Lankan finisher Thisara Perera has smashed Peterson with 35 runs in an over. The order of all six balls of that over was like “6, 6, Wd, 6, 6, 4, 6”. This is the second most expensive over of the one-day international cricket, succeeded by the Van Munge of the Netherlands.

Thus this South African spinner has hilariously trolled Stuart Broad by posting a treat on which he showcased his humorous skills along with the pain of getting his old record broken. In his tweet, he quoted, “Sad to lose my record today, oh well, records are made to be broken I guess. Onto the next one”.
