Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Rizwan has made a cryptic statement ahead of the semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2022 between India and England. He said that his side is wishing to play the arch-rivals in the final but they played England in the 1992 World Cup final and they would want to repeat history.

After suffering two successive defeats against India and Zimbabwe in their first two games, not many had given Pakistan a chance to qualify for even the semi-finals. But they silenced all the critics as they became the first team to qualify for the semi-final.
After the first two losses, Pakistan played the staggering brand of cricket and won four games on the trot. They thumped New Zealand by 7 wickets in the semi-final at SCG and booked their berth in the final.
They displayed a sensational performance with both bat and ball and outplayed the Black Caps in all three departments. They will now wait for India vs England semi-final to get their desired opponents for the final of the tournament.

India and England will take on each other in the semi-final 2 of the T20 World Cup 2022 at Adelaide Oval on 10th November. With the match around the corner, many have expressed their desire to see India vs Pakistan final.
However, for this to happen India needs to bring their A-game and outplay England to reach the final. The Jos Buttler-led side would want to spoil the hopes of fans and play the final to lift their second title.
