“Now he is testing the nerves of every Indian fan”, Twitter reacts as KL Rahul again departs for cheap

In the current round of the Twenty20 World Cup, Rohit Sharma‘s team is pumped up and ready to take on South Africa. When these two teams meet at the illustrious Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia, they will both be looking to maintain their perfect records in the current tournament. Neither of these teams has lost a game thus far in the competition.

Both India and South Africa are considered to have excellent chances of advancing to the semifinals from their respective groups. After winning the toss, the Indian captain Rohit Sharma decided to bat first.

Even though Team India has put up a very strong run thus far in this year’s World Cup, their biggest challenge was batting first. As a result of Kohli and Suryakumar’s performances, India has had a relatively easy time of it thus far in the competition; but, if Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul start hitting their stride, it would put India in a very strong position.

Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian team, still managed to have a solid performance against the Dutch, but as far as Rahul is concerned, his difficulties simply don’t seem to go away no matter what. Vikram Rathour, the batting coach for India, spent a lot of time talking about Rahul and opened up about how the Indian team management is supporting him.

Even though India has Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli available to them, and Virat Kohli is also being considered as one of the backup openers, Rohit Sharma has decided to go with Rahul for the time being, and he will be hoping that Rahul lives up to the trust that he has placed in him.

In a decision that took everyone by surprise, Rohit Sharma and the management of the Indian squad opted to select Deepak Hooda while benching Axar Patel. Because the Delhi Capitals player Axar had either very little or almost no impact in either of the two games and because India is aware of the lethal bowling attack that South Africa possesses, India has decided to include one additional batsman in their lineup as a backup plan in case things go awry and the batting falls apart.

KL Rahul suffered another setback in this game. He scored 9 runs off 14 balls before getting dismissed by Lungi Ngidi. He poked a ball to the slip cordon and Markram took a perfect catch.
