The Second T20I of the Sri-Series will be played between New Zealand and Pakistan on Saturday (8th September).

New Zealand vs Pakistan Tri-Series 2nd T20I: Pakistan had a dream start to the tri-series as they thumped Bangladesh in the opening encounter by 21 runs to bag 2 crucial points to their name. They will now take on New Zealand on Saturday (8th October) in Christchurch and would be hoping to extend their winning run in the series and take confidence into T20 World Cup 2022.

Predicted Pakistani Playing 11 for the second T20I against New Zealand  

The second T20I of the Tri-Series between New Zealand and Pakistan is just a few hours away from now. Both teams being the heavyweights in T20Is depicts that their match will go down the wire and fans would be in for an enthralling contest.

Talking about the predicted 11, it is expected that the duo of skipper Babar Azam and wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan will open the innings for his side. Both of them had a decent outing in the first game and would be looking to continue their good form.

Also, they will back young Shan Masood as No.3 and it is expected that he’ll be their No.3 in the T20 World Cup as well. The southpaw scored crucial 31 runs in the first game.

The middle-order woes of Pakistan get against haunted them in the first game as the likes of Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed and Asif Ali failed to deliver once again for the side. However, it is expected that Pakistan would give them a longer rope in the side and will continue with them in the second game as well.

The finisher’s role for Pakistan is likely to be done by Mohammad Nawaz and Shahdab Khan, who is also likely to play a crucial role with the ball. They didn’t play Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah in the first game but it is expected that they’ll give them game time and will play them in the second game with Haris Rauf being the third pacer.
