Watch: Naseem Shah’s brother Hunain Shah picks up his first wicket with sheer pace

Naseem Shah recently made his debut and left everyone impressed with his pace. His performance in the 2022 T20 World Cup was a memorable one. Now, his 18-year-old brother is also making noise with his performances. He recently made his debut in Pakistan domestic cricket. Here, we take a look at the video in which Naseem Shah’s brother Hunain Shah picks up his first wicket with sheer pace.

Hunain Shah leaves many impressed with his pace

Pakistan is blessed to have quality fast bowlers with raw pace. The current bowling attack comprises the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, all of whom are very quick. Now, it seems there is another player coming through to join this group.

Hunain Shah, the brother of Naseem, is also a pacer and like his brother, he is also very quick. Recently, he took his first FC wicket and has already given signs of his next destination. Here is a look at the wicket taken by the player:

Team India also needs bowlers with raw pace

India’s pace attack has lacked the cutting edge in recent years, especially when it comes to ODI and T20I cricket. With most of the Indian pacers, there is this trend of bowlers reducing their pace after a while in their careers. The likes of Ishant Sharma and Irfan Pathan started out as quick bowlers but a few years later, they turned out to become medium pacers.

The management must ensure that raw pace is never ignored in the setup. As seen in recent tournaments, the likes of Haris Rauf and Mark Wood have had a terrific impact. Yes, they might tend to deviate from their lines and lengths sometimes but pace always promises consistent wickets. India is slowly seeing some players with real pace coming through. The likes of Umran Malik and Kuldeep Sen are the latest examples. The management will want to further groom these cricketers for the upcoming tournaments.
