Chennai Super Kings are playing against Gujarat Titans in the Qualifier 1 fixture of the sixteenth season of the Indian Premier League. The game is taking place at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.

Gujarat Titans finished the league stage as the table-toppers and were the first team to qualify for the playoffs. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings finished second on the points table and made it to the playoffs.

Talking about the game, Gujarat Titans won the toss and invited Chennai Super Kings to open the face of the blade first. The yellow army posted a competitive total of 172/7 in their allotted quota of 20 overs.

Ruturaj Gaikwad was the pick of the batters for CSK as he chipped in with 60 off 44 balls. He paced his innings with the help of seven fours and a six whereas Devon Conway scored 40 off 34 (4 fours).

Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings’ all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja etched his name into the record books after he became the first left-arm bowler to take 150 wickets in the history of the IPL.

He has been one of the best-performing players for the Chennai Super Kings for a long time now. Jadeja delivered the goods as a three-dimensional player where he scored runs when it mattered the most and took crucial wickets for the team.

Besides that, he has displayed exceptional fielding abilities to save runs for the team. Jadeja achieved the feat during the game against Gujarat Titans. He registered 2/18 in four overs.
