IND vs SA 2022: Predicted Indian Playing 11 for the third T20I

The third T20I between India and South Africa

IND vs SA 2022: Indian Cricket Team has taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series against South Africa. Both the teams have played competitive cricket so far and it’s fair to say that they are having a decent preparation ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022.

IND vs SA 2022: Predicted Indian Playing 11 for the second T20I

After a staggering display in the first two games, India is now slated to lock horns against South Africa in the dead rubber third T20I on Tuesday (4th October) at Holkar Stadium, Indore.

Indian batsmen have been in the red hot form and also they have been bowling well in power plays but death bowling has been the area of concern for them. They would be hoping to rectify that area in the last game before heading to Australia for the T20 World Cup.

Coming to their playing 11, India is expected to continue with the same opening pair of Skipper Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul at the top. They both did a terrific job in the second game along with Virat Kohli at No.3 who also had a good game in Guwahati.

Suryakumar Yadav no doubt will bat at No.4 in the Indian XI and he will likely continue his red hot form for the side.Β  Rishabh Pant would be hoping to get some game time and is expected to bat at No.5 with Dinesh Karthik slated to bat at No.6.

Axar Patel and R Ashwin didn’t have a good game in Guwahati. While the left-arm spinner is expected to retain his place, India can bring Yuzvendra Chahal back in the side for the last game. Deepak Chahar and Arshdeep Singh, who was a touch expensive, are likely to be in the team whereas Mohammed Siraj is expected to be in the side in place of Harshal Patel.
