ICC Releases T20 World Cup Anthem Featuring The Likes Of Kohli, Pollard, Maxwell and Rashid Khan

World Cup anthem: The apex cricket body, International Cricket Council (ICC) launched the official anthem of the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup alongside an official campaign film that starred the animated incarnations of Kohli, Pollard, Rashid Khan and Glenn Maxwell.
The animated anthem is called “Live the game” and has been created by illustrious Bollywood music director, Amit Trivedi. The anthem stars young fans from all over the world engaged in the shortest version of the game and a handful of T20 cricket stars.

The advert whipped out a beautiful and flamboyant illustration of young fans from all across the globe engaged in the explosive experience of T20 cricket and from there are being teleported to the cricket ground where they come alive as animated avatars. After a brief exchange of cricket between them, they are joined by Kohli, Pollard, Rashid Khan and Glenn Maxwell.

The animation featured a new broadcast technology that mixed both 3D and 2D effects to spawn the beautiful film. The team that produced the anthem comprised 40 people assorted into designers, modellers, matte painters, animators and compositors. They worked for endless hours to produce the final edition of the song.
Despite the T20 World Cup being a biennial extravaganza, this fray will be happening for the first time in five years. The opening match of the fray will be happening at Muscat’s Oman Cricket Academy between debutants, Oman and Papua New Guinea.

Pollard spoke about the tournament as he was heard citing, “T20I cricket has proven time and time again that it can engage fans of all ages, and I’m excited to bring some fireworks to the stadiums in the UAE and for those watching all over the world.”
Maxwell was heard quoting, “The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is going to be one of the toughest and most exciting on record. There are so many teams that could take the trophy and every game will be like a final. We can’t wait to get started knowing the caliber of players we have.”
This World Cup may also prove to be the last rodeo of a few legends that include the likes of Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo.
