“I checked five times if this is a parody account.” – Twitter reacts as Veteran Pacer makes a controversial statement about Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli.

Delhi Capitals will square off against the Royal Challengers Bangalore once again in the 50th match of the ongoing IPL at Arun Jaitely Stadium in Delhi  tonight.

The stalwart batsman Virat Kohli is making the headlines for mostly the wrong reasons currently. The 34-year-old is currently the stopgap skipper of RCB as Faf du Plessis is dealing with an injury, and RCB is looking to use him as an impact player. Virat has been in fine touch in the ongoing IPL, though; he has scored 364 runs in nine matches thus far, which includes five fifties.

However, Virat Kohli has been involved in a lot of controversial segments in the ongoing IPL. During an intense match between Royal challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium At first, Virat Kohli got into a heated argument with LSG’s Afghan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq, which paved the way for another verbal spat between LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir and Virat post-match.Not long ago, during the 20th match of the ongoing IPL, Virat Kohli gave a death stare to former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly ( during 18th over) as RCB handed DC their fifth consecutive loss of the tournament. Post-match, they didn’t shake hands either. Following this, Virat Kohli unfollowed Ganguly on social media, and the latter returned the favor by doing the exact same thing shortly.

Now the Delhi Capitals will square off against the Royal Challengers Bangalore once again in the 50th match of the ongoing IPL at Arun Jaitely Stadium in Delhi  tonight. In a video shared by Star Sports, veteran Indian pacer Sreesanth has made a hilarious statement. Sreesanth said if Virat manages to score a hundred tonight against  Delhi Capitals, it will be a great tribute to Sourav Ganguly.

Now This statement can further add fuel to the controversy. Apparently, Ganguly and Kohli do not share a very healthy relationship. Only time will tell whether Kohli can score a hundred tonight, though Twitter users saw the lighter side of it and made some great comments. Here are a few of them Below :
