Prithvi Shaw has been making waves in the domestic circuit ever since he was axed from the national reckoning. The right-handed batter has let his bat do the talking when it mattered the most in Ranji Trophy.
Plying his trade for Mumbai cricket team, the youngster swung his blade with brute force against the Assam cricket team at Amingaon Cricket Ground, Guwahati.
The youngster smashed a flurry of more than 26 boundaries and a six at a strike rate of around 90. The Maharashtra-born cricketer made the headlines after he scored a century against Assam in domestic circuit.

After scoring a hundred, Prithvi Shaw grew from strength to strength as he started playing a fearless brand of cricket. The youngster etched his name into the record books after he scored a scintillating double century.
Notably, he completed the double century off 235 balls and also drew plaudits for his exceptional batting display. Mumbai cricket team have been in the strong zone at the moment as they scored more than 300 runs on Day 1 as the third session is still going on.
Be it Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy or Ranji Trophy, this youngster keeps on performing well. Earlier, Musheer Khan departed after scoring 42 runs including five fours and a six.
As things stand, Mumbai have switched gears and marched ahead with grit and determination. It is important to start the innings properly in the first innings and that’s what exactly Mumbai cricket team did to put themselves in a pole position.
On the other side of the coin, Assamese bowlers have a lot of catching up to do to stop the Mumbai batters in the first innings.
