“He is the only consistent guy in the ODI set up right now” – Twitter reacts after Shreyas Iyer said his goal is to win the World Cup and play knocks that help the team win games

Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer has not been listed in the ongoing three-match T20I series against the Sri Lankan cricket team. The right-handed batsman has been included in the three-match ODI series against the Lankans.

The first ODI of the three-match ODI series will kick off on January 10 in Guwahati and it will be quite interesting to see how Shreyas Iyer goes about his business in the ODI series.

It is worth mentioning here that he has been the most consistent batsman for Team India in the ODI set-up. In the last calendar year, he even edged past veteran Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and became the leading run-scorer for India in ODIs in 2022.
