Fans on Twitter lauded Pakistan skipper Babar Azam for his sensational success as the skipper of the team in the last two years.  They highlighted his record in the multination tournament and said that the right-hander has to be the best Pakistani captain.

Babar Azam has done exceptionally well as the skipper of the Pakistan Cricket Team. Not only has he been batting well but he also has been spot-on with his captaincy ever since he took the role.

In his first ICC event, that was T20 World Cup 2021, as a skipper Babar Azam led his side to the semi-final. Not only he performed well as a captain but he led from the front and was the leading run-getter in the tournament.

After that, he continued his good record in the Asia Cup 2022 as he led Pakistan to the finals. If this was not enough his side then displayed exceptional performance in the Tri-Series in New Zealand and emerged as the winners of that series.

It was expected that Babar would do good in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 and he didn’t disappoint his fans. The Pakistan skipper despite the first two losses in the league stage made sure that his team didn’t lose belief. They displayed some sensational performances and reached the final of the tournament.

They will now face England and fans would be hoping Babar Azam to lead his side to the title glory. The summit clash between the two teams will take place at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday (13th November).
