“He has proved himself as a captain in PSL” – Hasan Ali names Babar Azam’s replacement as Pakistan skipper

Babar Azam is one of the best cricketers in the world and what really sets him apart from most other batters in his team is the unreal consistency that he brings to the table.

While he has often added a great deal of dimension to the team’s batting attack by scoring a half-century or a century, his captaincy hasn’t been up to the mark in recent times.

The fans, cricket experts and former cricketers have expressed their disappointment at Babar Azam’s captaincy of late. In fact, Babar Azam registered an unwanted record of losing four Tests in a row as Pakistan captain for the first time in history.

Besides that, the Pakistan cricket team finished the previous calendar year without a single win as far as Test cricket is concerned. There is still plenty of room for improvement for Babar Azam as far as the captaincy subject is concerned.

Hasan Ali names Babar Azam’s replacement as Pakistan skipper

Following Pakistan’s dismal results in Test cricket, Pakistan Cricket Board went on to sack Ramiz Raja from the chairman post and also sacked Muhammad Wasim-led selection panel.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s fast bowler Hasan Ali named Babar Azam’s replacement as Pakistan’s captain. According to Hasan Ali, Shadab Khan has all the tools and ingredients to replace Babar Azam as the Pakistan captain.

Hasan Ali was asked to share some views on Shadab Khan as the next Pakistan captain. To which, he replied that Shadab Khan was always ready to lead the Pakistan cricket team from the front.

Hasan Ali also added that Shadab Khan has proved himself as a skipper in the Pakistan Super League. Besides that, he has also led the national cricket team in two games as well.

Hasan Ali reckons that Shadab Khan is always ready for any challenge. Last but not least, Hasan Ali said Shadab Khan is someone who gives absolutely everything for the team.
