Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul are close friends off the field. Many fans would remember how the duo was involved in a massive controversy once upon a time. However, both of them have overcome that issue and are still good friends.
Pandya and Rahul have played cricket regularly for the Indian cricket team. They are rivals of each other in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. Rahul is the skipper of the newly rebranded Punjab Kings franchise, whereas Hardik is the top all-rounder of the Mumbai Indians team.
Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul’s performances in IPL 2021 so far
KL Rahul kicked off his IPL 2021 campaign with a fantastic half-ton against the Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium. However, he got run out in the subsequent game against the Chennai Super Kings at the same venue.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya is yet to fire all cylinders in IPL 2021. He was in great touch during the India vs England ODI series, but the pitch in Chennai has been tough to bat on. Recently, Hardik executed two magnificent run outs in the match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
It will be interesting to see what happens when KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya come face to face later in the IPL 2021 season. The Punjab Kings will play two matches against the Mumbai Indians, with the first of the two games being on this Friday, April 23.
