India gets bundled out for just 109 runs in the third Test against Australia

The third Test between India and Australia is currently taking place in Indore. Hosts skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. But things haven’t gone the way they would’ve liked as batters have struggled to get going on the pitch, which turned from the first ball.

Skipper Rohit Sharma (12) was the first one who perished and after that, it has been just the festival of wickets. Shubham Gill played solid shots and scored 21 runs but he too was outfoxed by the spin. Indian batters have struggled to get going against the spin and lost half of their side for just 45 runs.

Cheteshwar Pujara (1), Shreyas Iyer (0) and Ravindra Jadeja (4) looked clueless and lost their wickets. Virat Kohli looked settled and along with KS Bharat tried to bail their side out of trouble. Both batted well for 22 and 17 respectively. But the brilliance of the Australian spinner was good enough to trouble them.

Umesh Yadav (17)  fired some lusty blows in the end and along with Axar Patel added handy runs for their side and helped them go past 100 runs.  A sensational bowling performance from India saw India getting bundled out for just 109 runs. Matthew Kuhnemann (5), Nathan Lyon (3) and Todd Murphy (1) looked extremely dangerous on a pitch, which has offered 4.9 degrees of turn and took all the 10 wickets.
