The former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir reckons that the performance of the Pakistan fast bowlers against England will be different from the performance of Indian bowlers because Shaheen Afridi can dismiss the dangerous England openers Jos Buttler and Alex Hales early.
Mohammad Amir, who was previewing the final of the T20 World Cup on his youtube channel, also said that the conditions in Melbourne will be a little more conducive to the fast bowlers as compared to Sydney and Adelaide where the two semi-finals took place on sluggish and slow pitches.
The weather forecast also suggests that it might rain on Sunday as well as on the reserve day of the final. Whenever the final eventually kicks off, it’s almost certain that there will be a bit of moisture in the pitch and all the MCG surfaces that have been dished out in this tournament have always had a bit of green tinge to it.
The fast bowlers have made a difference at MCG right since the very first India Vs Pakistan game, where Arshdeep Singh got 3 wickets for India. Mohammad Amir is of the view that the fast bowlers will call the shots again at the MCG pitch in the final.

While England has got a deep batting line up and they bat almost down to no. 11, their openers are very dangerous as well and in the semi-final match against India, the openers had got the job done all by themselves. Shaheen Afridi was not looking fully fit at the start of the T20 World Cup, as he was coming back after a long lay-off, but the southpaw has been able to swing the ball in the last couple of games that he has played and he is the one to look out for in the final again.
