“Come to CSK”, Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja tempts KS Bharat to join CSK

Chennai Super Kings are the second-most successful club in India’s top T20 competition. Led by MS Dhoni, the CSK franchise have made it a habit of qualifying for the playoffs, more often than not.

The yellow army have won as many as four titles since the start of the tournament. CSK won their first title by beating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2009 final and after which, they went on to win their second title by beating Mumbai Indians in IPL 2010 final.

After that, they won their third title by beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2018 final. CSK went on to win their fourth title by beating Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2021 final.

Needless to say, they failed to execute their plans in the last edition of the IPL where things literally got messed up to a large extent. CSK surrendered at the hands of most of the opposition teams in the group stage.

Ravindra Jadeja tries to convince KS Bharat to join CSK

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja led the franchise for the first half of the season but the results were not in favour of the franchise. After that, he stepped down as captain, paving way for MS Dhoni to take up the captaincy duties again.

Nevertheless, CSK didn’t recover from the defeats and it was too late for them to make a comeback. In the end, CSK finished at the ninth place in the points table, winning only four games, losing 10 games in their journey.

It was a forgetful campaign for the yellow army and they will be looking forward to staging a grand comeback in the upcoming season of the IPL. Meanwhile, they have retained many good players but took harsh calls to release DJ Bravo.

Ravindra Jadeja made the headlines after he tried to lure KS Bharat to join CSK after the latter dropped in with two yellow heart emojis. Earlier, DC released KS Bharat from their set-up and Jadeja took this as an opportunity to convince him to join the yellow army. Jadeja replied, “Come to CSK”.
