The RCB franchise has a loyal fanbase and the supporters have been cheering for the team through thick and thin. Under Virat Kohli’s captaincy, RCB made it to the finals of the competition in IPL 2016 season.

Faf du Plessis who was roped in by RCB at the IPL 2022 mega auction was named the captain of the franchise. Under his captaincy, RCB qualified for the playoffs as they ended up at the fourth place in the points table.
