“You can surely feel that was the decision of God”-Twitter reacts as Greg Chappel said that The Knock by Virat Kohli against Pakistan was like Song of a God

During the first game of the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which took place in Melbourne on October 23, Virat Kohli led Team India to victory with an innings that would go down as one of the most memorable of his whole cricketing career.

The previous captain of India stayed undefeated after scoring 82 runs off of 53 balls and assisted the current team in achieving their goal of scoring 160 runs in 20 overs while playing against their arch-rivals Pakistan. Virat maintained his composure in front of a sold-out crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and batted in the middle all the way through to the finish in order to get his team off to a strong start.

Virat Kohli is an Indian batting superstar who is also the highest run scorer in the shortest format of the game. His exploits at the ‘G’ got him enormous acclaim from all corners, and now another major figure has joined the list to go ga-ga over the Indian batting ace.

Greg Chappell, a former Australian captain and the head coach of the Indian national cricket team, wrote a column for the Sydney Morning Herald in which he heaped praise on Virat Kohli. Chappell called Kohli the “most complete Indian batsman” of his time and went on to say that Virat’s match-winning knock against Pakistan was a “song by God.”

“Kohli played an innings that was as close to a ‘song by god’ as has ever been played in T20 cricket. Like a cat playing with a new skein of wool, Kohli teased then expertly picked apart an excellent Pakistan bowling attack until it lay unravelled, spent and exposed on the green carpet of the MCG,” he concluded.

As a result of Virat Kohli’s phenomenal performance with the bat in Team India’s opening match of this year’s megaevent, which was played against the side captained by Babar Azam, the award for Player of the Match was bestowed upon him, and he reaffirmed his position as one of the greatest cricketers of all time.
