3 players whose workload could be managed heavily in IPL 2024

Workload management is a thing now in India. The Indian Team has already lost some big names due to an injury at crucial junctures. Now, with the 2024 T20 World Cup happening soon after IPL 2024, the focus will be on managing the workload of some key cricketers. While BCCI cannot dictate franchises to drop and play players accordingly, it would come down to the player to ensure that he is fit for the World Cup. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three players whose workload could be managed heavily in IPL 2024.

1) Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah has been in fine form in recent months. He missed the 2022 T20 World Cup due to an injury and this was a big blow for India. He also missed IPL 2023.

Now, Bumrah and BCCI must ensure that he is in good shape for the T20 World Cup. India needs to win the competition and with Mohammed Shami also out of the picture, it is important that Bumrah is fit and fully available.

2) Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja is one of the players whose workload could be managed heavily in IPL 2024. Jadeja has also been subject to injuries in recent years.

His role will be crucial in West Indies for the T20 World Cup. Such spinners usually trouble the batters in those conditions. Hence, he will have to take good care of himself in IPL 2024.

3) Rishabh Pant

For Pant, though, a return to the Indian Team for the 2024 T20 World Cup is unlikely. The focus will be to ensure that he is ready for the BGT later this year against Australia.

While NCA clearance is available, it is said that the DC management will not rush things. He will not keep wickets and it is also unlikely that he will be stressed with too much on the field.
