Brad Hogg Predicts The 2 Teams That Will Finish Last In IPL 2022

IPL 2022 will start tonight with a match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings, and it will mark the beginning of the grandest IPL season. For the first time in 11 years, 10 franchises will compete for the IPL trophy. With the arrival of Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants, the race is expected to be more intense from this year onwards. Former Australian cricketer Brad Hogg gave his predictions recently.

While the season has not started yet, Hogg gave his opinions regarding the tournament by looking at the strengths and the weaknesses of the squad. Yesterday, former Indian cricket team captain Sunil Gavaskar said on Sports Tak that Punjab Kings are unlikely to win IPL 2022.

Brad Hogg echoed the same in his latest YouTube vlog. He felt that the Punjab Kings and the Sunrisers Hyderabad are the two franchises that may finish at the bottom of the IPL 2022 standings.

“I think the Punjab Kings are going to be at the bottom of the ladder. They are depleted in spin and their middle-order has holes. I also think the Sunrisers are going to be at the bottom as well,” said Hogg.

Brad Hogg feels if there is an injury in Sunrisers Hyderabad’s camp, it will be curtains for them

Hogg further mentioned that the Sunrisers Hyderabad will rely heavily on their Indian bowlers because they do not have enough depth in their batting department. He opined that in case one of the SRH batters gets injured, it will be curtains for them in IPL 2022.

It will be interesting to see whether the predictions of Hogg prove to be accurate. The Punjab Kings will start their season tomorrow evening against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, while the Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on the Rajasthan Royals in their first match.
