Sunrisers Hyderabad were very assertive in IPL 2024 Auctions. They went past INR 20 cr for the acquisition of Pat Cummins. They also got Travis Head onboard. Some of these signings could actually disrupt the balance of the side. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three SRH players who could be available in the IPL 2024 Trade window.
1) Fazalhaq Farooqi
Fazalhaq Farooqi is one of the SRH players who could be available in the IPL 2024 Trade window. With Pat Cummins and Wanindu Hasaranga in the team, SRH may not afford to give the Afghan any chances.
Rather than sitting on the bench, he could look out for opportunities elsewhere. Hence, the talented Afghan pacer is on this list.
2) Marco Jansen
Marco Jansen was supposed to be the overseas pacer for SRH in the playing XI. He was also a right fit because SRH needed a new-ball partner for Bhuvneshwar Kumar. However, Pat Cummins has arrived and considering his base price, he will be preferred for the team.
Cummins is not at his best when he takes the new ball. Anyways, his value is higher in the middle-overs, especially with the new two bouncers per over rule. This was also why SRH were forced to sign Jaydev Unadkat and Akash Singh. Therefore, Jansen could be looking for a trade so that he would get more chances.
3) Glenn Phillips
Travis Head is the big batting acquisition by SRH. It is also an important one as it will seal the opening slots for the side. However, Glenn Phillips might have to miss out because Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen cannot be dropped from the team.
Phillips is a fantastic T20 cricketer. While he is a keeper, in recent years, he has developed his game as a spinner, as well. A few teams such as KKR could like his services and hence, the Kiwi might push for a trade if an opportunity arises.
