Team India registered a historic and emotional win against England in the Mecca of cricket- Lord’s as India go 1-0 up in the 5 match series. This win would not have been possible without the excellence of Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Shami in bowling, while Rahane and Pujara’s duo stood strong against the England bowlers to survive the 4th day and kept India in a very strong position to win this test.

While both Bumrah and Shami dominated with the ball, both of them came very handy with the bat as they gave their team a defendable score of 298 in the 2nd innings, a score which England failed to chase or even survive on the last day of the test as they fell short of 151 runs. This year will go down as one of the most historic years in Indian cricket history, as they’ve successfully beaten both England and Australia at their own fortresses.

Mohammed Siraj bagged a four-wicket as he led his team to victory at Lord’s, he turned the path of the game by taking two quick wickets in two balls shortly after fellow team-mate, Jasprit Bumrah dismissed England’s captain, Joe Root. The home team got to the worst possible start as their openers were dismissed by pacers Bumrah and Shami in no time.
